Complete the look
Complete the look sells an outfit or a set in one click. It lists two to six products you choose, each with a checkbox and, where the product has variants, a menu to pick one. A running total and a single button add every ticked product to the cart together. An optional look image sits beside the list.
It can’t be placed in the header or footer groups.
Settings
- Look image. Optional. A photograph of the whole look, shown beside the list.
- Heading. Default:
Complete the look. - Products. Two to six products. The look shows once two of them are available.
- Color scheme. Default: scheme-1.
Spacing
- Top padding / Bottom padding. Range: 0 to 300 px in 5 px steps. Default: 60 px each.
How it behaves
- Every available product starts ticked. The shopper unticks what they already own, and the total and the button label (
Add 3 items to cart) follow along. - A product with more than one variant gets a menu of its variants. Choosing one updates that row’s price and the total. Sold-out variants are listed but can’t be chosen.
- A sold-out product still shows, marked Sold out, but it can’t be ticked.
- With fewer than two available products the section shows nothing on your storefront. In the theme editor it shows a note asking for at least two.
Tips
- Photograph the look as a whole. The image is what sells the set; the list is how it gets bought. A flat lay or a single styled shot works better than a product photo of one of the pieces.
- Three or four products is the sweet spot. Two barely reads as a look, and six makes a long list with a long total.
- Lead with the anchor piece. Products are listed in the order you pick them, so put the one the look is built around first.
- Watch availability. When a piece sells out the look quietly shrinks, and below two available products it disappears. Swap sold-out pieces for something in stock.
