Logo

The Logo category in Theme settings controls your shop’s logo image and how it is displayed.

Settings

  • Logo image — The image file used as your shop logo. Displayed in sections that have branding enabled. Uses shop name as fallback. Transparent .png or .svg recommended for best appearance against varying color schemes.
  • Logo width — The maximum display width of the logo, in pixels. Range: 50 to 300 px in 10 px steps. Default: 120 px.

Where the logo appears

The logo image is used as the brand mark in:

  • The header’s fixed top-left site brand anchor (when Show shop branding is enabled in the header section, and only on pages other than the home page).
  • The password page (when Show logo is enabled in the password page settings).

If no logo is uploaded, Pave falls back to the shop name as text.

Recommendations

  • File format: Use a transparent .png or .svg so the logo blends with any color scheme.
  • Aspect ratio: Pave is designed for horizontal logos. Tall or square logos may look awkward in tight header layouts. Recommended: 4:1 or wider.
  • File size: Keep the file under 100 KB. Large logo files slow down every page load.
  • Resolution: Upload at 2x the maximum displayed size to remain crisp on high-resolution screens (Retina, 4K). For a 120 px display width, upload a 240 px wide source.
  • Color contrast: The logo sits on top of the page content with a mix-blend-mode: difference filter on the header brand, which adapts to backgrounds. Test the logo against your hero banner and key product photography.

How to upload

  1. Open the theme editor.
  2. Click Theme settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Open the Logo category.
  4. Click Logo image > Select image to upload a new file or pick one from your library.
  5. Adjust Logo width to the desired display size.
  6. Click Save.
